The LLM by coursework and Research Report mirrors the content and fields of the Postgraduate Diploma in Law, but requires far more extensive scholarly research. This route is suited to candidates who are interested in deeply interrogating an aspect of law with the time and capacity to undertake significant independent research.

Candidates should be able to commit up to 20 hours a week to conduct independent research at an advanced academic level.

  • Advanced Bill of Rights Jurisprudence

  • International Human Rights Law
  • International Law on Foreign Investment
  • Refugees Law
LLM students in this field must pass the compulsory course and one of the elective courses at core level.In addition, LLM students must complete the course Research Methodology and a 10,000 words Research Report in the field of Human Rights Advocacy and Litigation.
